Quantum equations apply to our frame of reference. We do not know, and cannot know, what our frame of reference is, which introduces an element of nebulosity.
We tend not to look for things that we expect not to see, which results
in all theories of physics being self-reinforcing.
The strategy may be justifiable for billion dollar experiments, but the material
cost to measure the E field of a falling magnetic toroid would be less
than $10. It might be thought that the outcome of the experiment is generally
known, but that is not the case. Despite more than a century of labor,
we still have much to learn about the ways of transforming in space and time.
